Hydroquinone has lots of side effects too. Use acne UV gel in the morning
and Bristaa cream during night for one month Don't go for hydroquinone or steroids over the face.

Plain hydroquinone will give results but should be used for short time like 3-4 months. Cosmolite is triple combination cream thats why you got side effects. Both can be used but under doctors guidence. Visit dermatologist n take proper treatment it is always better.

Donot use steroid based creams on the face. it will make your skin very sensitive. There is no cure for melasma. You can decrease it by taking tabs and applying creams. Avoiding sunexposure is very important. Since it is due to hormones we cannot remove it totally but it can be very well controlled with tabs and creams.

It may cause a temporary uptick in redness or dryness at first, especially if you have sensitive skin. These effects should fade as your skin becomes used to the product. In rare cases, hydroquinone has caused a condition called ochronosis.
