Sir, you already are on three medications for your Hypertension. Lercanidipin, Atenolol and Losartan. All these medicines have their own share of side-effects. Your doctor must have prescribed them to you with a purpose. May be that your blood pressure was not coming under control with single drug. Along with the drugs have you exercise schedule in place. Fasting blood sugar should be less than 126 and post prandial (after food should be less than 160) ideally. She might need a change in her dose or might need new medications. She needs to be reviewed by the physician.
