Probably you are suffering from a condition called anal fissure which causes pain even during sitting. Use 4% xylocaine jelly before & after going for defecation. Take "looz"(lactulose) syrup 30 ml at bed time to soften your stools. You can hot water siz bath twice daily for 10 minutes each time.

You have to check blood to see if hypothyroidism is the cause for your constipation and treat if it is therfe.. If fine , you have to eat high fiber diet and drink 3-4 liters of water daily. if not useful, still, take lactulose syrup . Looz syrup is the best The lump can be a polyp and need check up
