This is a troublesome question to a lot of people on medication. Bipolar 1 what you have now is a long-term recovery program. You should not rely on medication alone and must therefore combine it with some therapy too. This is the best approach. Comply with all the medical prescriptions, and work in tandem with a counselor for a long time and learn coping skills and techniques to handle the daily challenges you will face. There are certain adaptations that will suit you during the elation phase ...more

Hi lybrate-user I will suggest you to never stop medicines without asking your doctor because the symptoms will relapse again and you will be in problem again so always ask your doctor that whether you can reduce medicine or not. And for anxiety you can start breathing exercises for time being and for negative thoughts start writing one positive thought daily. I hope this will help you thank you
stay healthy.

In the meanwhile, please talk to her employer about the treatment and see that her retirement request...more

Dear lybrate-user,
Most of these tablets that you are taking has to pass through kidneys daily. Since your kidney report is on higher side you need to avoid few unnecessary drug like Stilnoct. Oleanz plus itself may give sound sleep. Lithosun 900 mg is also one of the culprit for kidney higher side reports. Discuss with your psychiatrist about your kidney reports and your serum lithium level with 300 mg of lithosun three times a day. Depending on the lithium level he may reduce the dose of l...more
