Dear Syed,
I don't know for what diagnosis, you are taking these tablets, at what dose and for how long. However if you are going to drink alcohol to reduce your anxiety, please take acamprosate also. It reduces the craving for alcohol!

You can chose to start with simple mindfulness exercises. Progressive relaxation techniques, begin with simply standing in morning sunlight for 3 mins. Gradually increase it 1 min in each 5 days.
These are the foundations for handling lower states of brain.
Regarding leaving medicines you have to do it under the guidance of your psychiatrist, attempting it on your own can be hazardous.

You must estimate serum Lithium level. Blood sample to be taken in morning hours in empty stomach. Only getting the report we can give further course of action. Meanwhile take plenty of water and avoid other contraindicated medication during lithium therapy.
