It is better to improve diet to reduce triglycerides than to take medicines. Reduce alcohol sugar jaggery and starchy foods in diet. These are converted into triglycerides by the liver. Increase traditional health foods like yoghurt cheese nuts eggs butter etc. These do not go to the liver. Discuss VLDL and triglycerides with a MSc biochemistry, don't discuss with anybody less qualified in biochemistry.
