Just check for painful swelling behind ear. Pinna. If so then any scalp condition can cause it. Otherwise it is part of cold and due to seasonal change. Just cold medicine will help child for both. It will subside in 2-3 days. Or else you can visit Dr.in your area. Thanks.

Hello, I am 60 years old. I have severe itching and burning problem in my fore- skin of my penis which will become intolerable sometimes that too during the night times. I am facing this problem since over 2 years. The skin looks like very normal and I do not have any rashes, boils or redness any thing on the affected area. I am also a diabetic and suffering from hypertension since ten years for which I am on regular medicine. I had consulted few doctors for my itching and burning problems like physicians, a urologist, a dermatologist, and also an internal medicines specialist in various hospitals like sagar, apollo and manipal hospitals. I had gone through few tests including test like psa. The results of all the tests were normal. The medicines prescribed and used are ointments like candid plain, candid gold, betnovate, neosporin etc. And an anti-biotic like linid 600 mg capsules. But the nothing could solve my problem. I am an orthodox brahmin and I never even think of any sexual relations other than my wife. My last sex was with my wife was about 2 years ago. Can any one suggest a good treatment from which I get rid off my problem?

Although physical examination is required but still I would answer. Excess sugar in the blood gets passed in the urine. However, yeast thrives on sugar and is more likely to grow on the penis of a man with diabetes. Symptoms of genital thrush include: redness, swelling, and itching around the head of the penis. Diabetes can make balanitis more likely, especially if the blood sugar is poorly controlled. High blood sugar causes elevated amounts of sugar in the urine. Sugar-rich urine that dribbles...more

Hi. I am 24 year old female. I am suffering from scalp folliculitis since past two years. I get white painful pustules on my head. Usually they are 5-7 in number but I have noticed once in 15 days I get a really bad break out where they increase to 20-25. They are all over my head. Frontal hair line. In between and even at the back of my head. They start with a reddish eruption and then convert into white pustules. I have sought different treatments. Initially I was on amoxicillin 500 mg twice a day. Then I was on linox 600 mg twice a day for 7 days along with topical clindamycin solution. This would clear up the pustules for 15 days but then they would return back worse than before. Skin prick test was also done and I avoided things which came positive on it like coconut, beans etc. I have tried homeopathy as well. I was given doses of hepar sulphur. Adel 73 and mezereum and a combination of others too but nothing really helped. Homeopathic medications would not dry it out. Have been given neem tablets too and neem oil which I took for 8 months along with turmeric tablets but that didn’t help too. I’m a student and my condition effects my studies a lot. Some days it gets difficult to even comb my hair hence I cannot go to college which effects my attendance. Kindly suggest me a way out of this terrible disease and I am losing hope.
