TB medciine are as per weight. At 2 months pyzine can be stopped. But addition of levofloxin by treating doc is not as per reccomendations.

You seem to have urinary tract infection with border line kidney disorder. Levofloaxacin is a good urinary antiseptic. But has many side effects. Drug may not have effect on platelets but will have to be taken under strict supervision of your doctor and cautious about any suspecting bad effect. Proper follow up of infection, kidney functioning and daibetes control side by side is necessary.

Get treated immediately as its complicayed urine infection. It can be severe if not treated on time. Do urine culture. Consult your doctor soon.

Dear Lybrateuser, you have not mentioned the duration of present ATT therapy.
Please note that TB treatment is a step wise therapy and despite best efforts some side effects like vomiting & loss of appetite occur at start of treatment.
You should have patience and please don't change / switch / alter TB medicines or their doses.
Kindly reconsult your doctor to solve this issue.
But in case the vomiting does not decrease, you can always have a second opinion from a Pulmonologist.<...more
