About Ledermycin 300mg Tablet

Ledermycin 300mg Tablet is a tetracycline antibiotic drug used to treat a number of bacterial infections effectively. The medicine however will not work on infections caused by other microbes such as virus, fungi etc. The medicine can be taken orally, with a glass of water, preferably a couple of hours before taking a meal. Precautions must be taken in case you are allergic to any drug component or food substance. It also helps to control acne, due to its anti-bacterial effect. The medicine makes you sensitive to sunlight, therefore it is recommended to limit your sun exposure to avoid reactions on the skin. Inform your doctor if you have suffered from any severe kidney, lung or heart disease, hernia, ulcers in the oesophagus, diabetes or if you are taking any prescription drugs for hormonal imbalance or as oral contraceptives. You should also use the drug with caution if you frequently suffer from acid reflux and gastric disorders.

Side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, allergic reactions on the skin. You must stay off alcohol consumption, smoking, caffeine and tobacco during the course of the treatment to avoid health complications. You should also avoid activities like driving after taking your dose of medicine as it may trigger dizziness and drowsiness.
