1. Do saline gargles daily.
2. Whenever possible do steam inhalation also.
3. Cover your nose and mouth with hanky for at least 30 sec when you go in dusty areas also when you go in and out of AC. As our nose is the most sensitive part of our body, When there is temperature difference between two rooms or inside n outside, then if we not protect our nose, it gets affected.

I assume your child is suffering from recurrent bronchitis. This is very common below 5-6 years of age. This will gradually decrease with age as wind pipe widens with age. The medicine which is prescribed by years pediatrician is fine. Continue with that. It has no side effects.

From what you have said above, you seem to be having bronchial asthma with allergic rhinitis. I have prescribed montelukast with levocetrine tablets for so many of my patients, and they have taken for more than 1 year. I haven't come across any major side effects. Its a very safe drug. You can try by taking alternate day and see if symptoms are reduced.

Take all precautions to avoid all things that you are allergic to. Frequent sickness can break your rhythm of studying. Start your day with making a list of things you want to study in the day. Give yourself specific targets- eg - I have to study ---- topic, from-----chapter and after that attempt----questions from that topic. Once you have finished this, then move on to the next thing on the list. Have lots of water and physical exercise to keep your energy level high.
