It is good to know that his seizures are controlled with the above medicines. Since he has had a seizure recently in march I will not recommend reducing the dosage just now. Another seizure will be a set back and best avoided.
Please also continue the medication for stroke prevention and physiotherapy.

Hello,
the slowness of the child is due to developmental delay either due to hypoxia or inherent brain formation. As you. Have not mentioned any details about his behaviour its difficult to pin point the cause of slow development, but I feel that medicines may not help him and I will tell you why.
Of course he does require lacosam in correct dosage to control his seizures so that he does not have recurrent seizures.

Commonly diagnosed in people under 20 and people over 65. This is because some causes are more common in young people such as difficulties at their birth, childhood infections or accidents and in older people such as strokes that lead to epilepsy. Hello, I am not very much convinced that you have complex partial seizures, the granuloma though in temporal region can induce seizures but the sequence is not suggestive at all according to the information you have posted. You can try a video eeg to further investigate the cause for same.

Hello ,
It would be better if I can see the reports and talk with you to understand the issue better, because I feel there is need of certain anti-psychotic medicines to be started alongwith the seizure disorder's drugs.
You can freely contact me in private or by telephone call. I can help you better in that way.
Thank you,

Hello,
If the seizures are under control for the last 2 years it is worthwhile to taper off the drugs one by one. Some dependency may be there but first try to stop Clobazam. It has to be tapered down gradually over a period of 2-3 months . I suggest that you decrease 2.5 mg of clobazam every 20 days( complete tapering will take 80 days a bit long tapering but in view of your withdrawl symptoms that will be best after that you can taper Lacosam after consultation
