Hello Lyndem, first of all how frequently he is getting seizures? if more than two times per month then we can increase the dose 150 to 200 twice daily. If the seizure frequency is very rare then not to increase the dose . Frontal lobe epilepsy are more resistant to treatment that’s why dose should be modified according to frequency/age/weight. Sometimes additional tablet maybe needed.

Lacoset 100 Tablet is used as alone or in combination with other antiepileptic medications to treat partial-onset seizure (fits due to involvement of only one side of brain). This partial seizure may be the cause of her hearing noise and you can do a review with the doctor

If you want to go with medicines, then you can. If you have any symptoms then can be continued for some days but these can be reduced with proper exercise and diet, reduce roti upto 1 in morning and 1 in evening ,and rather choose multigrain roti, take vegetables without aloo, use daal ,sprouts and fruits, soup whenever you're hungry, do exercise 1/2 hr empty stomach in morning and in evening. You might be suffering from a fissure instead.
Best is to get yourself examined by a proctologist in your area to get a proper diagnosis. For symptomatic relief.

The dosage given here are only guidelines and you have to go by the advice of your treating doctor. Levetiracetam dose is Initiate treatment with a daily dose of 1000 mg/day, given as twice-daily dosing (500 mg twice daily).
