Asked for male, 34 years old from Siliguri

I am having pain in my both feet along with stiff feeling. Pain in heels, and in my joints of my palm. Especially when I stand I feel my legs very tired so much so I can't stand or walk. I have a back pain too. I took gemcal and maxmala forte for two months, prescribed by neurologist but I didn't find much relief. What is the actual reason for my sufferings. Please suggest the cure of this. I am a prostatic patient too and I took many antibiotics like levofloxacin, plurofloxacin, ciprofloxacin ofloxacin doxcef ciprofloxacin in a gap of 5 months. Is it a sideeffect of these antibiotics. Please help.

Sir before 4 months my morning erection goes out. But it some time come like 40% of time and (I am not done sex yet) After 15 days some infection in my urine. I feel some uncomfortable in penis. Urologist give me antibiotique for 1 month but no relief. So I decide done Cystoscopy and found infection and urethral structure. Doctor give antibiotics and cauterization for 5 days. And give again antibiotics for 1 month. But after this I found my morning erection totally goes out (25 days go). I feel some irritation in penis till now. I done all test in hospitalisation all are OK. But why my morning erection not come? Why I did not relief from infection after taking long term medicine (levofloxacin)?

Having TB drug induced hepatitis. Need close watch, repeated LFT and drug adjustment by a pulmonologist Better avoid using levofloxacin as it is a second line TB drug.

I have suffering with red spots in inner thigh for 3 months. No itching problem but this rash reappears when I left taking medicines. Sometimes I doubt Can allopathy can't treat this? I took the medicines mentioned below :- Moxikind CV 625 Ciplox 500 Levofloxacin 500 Doxt SL 100 mg Swich CV 200 (325 mg) Taking ZOCON 150 once in Six days for 3 months Applying eclospan Cream and Ebernet Cream. I clean my clothes in warm water. I did everything what I could. But my bacterial infection reappears. I want to get rid of it. Please help me Tell me some medical test if I have to undergo but Please help me. I tried many dermatologists but no result.

Red spots on inner thigh may be an alllergic response to any cosmeitics/soap change/diet. There is no panic in this and what you should do is stop all drugs. You have continued usage of strong antibiotics for a long time. Stop all drugs and keep and
careful inspection is continues. If it does interfere with your dailylife we can even excise the area

Sir I had fever and cough for 7 days. Doctor prescribed some medicines for 3 days but coughing was not improved. So he did a x ray and said its TB. I started tb drugs and continued for 7 days. All my sputum test mt test and gene xpert were negative. I was continuing tb drugs. My cough was gone at this time after 7 days of tb drugs with levofloxacin and rimphapicin. I consulted with another doctor and did a fresh x ray in which my lungs were clear so he told me you are suffering from TB as in tb lungs do not get clear in a week. He prescribed lincotus dx only. After few days mild coughing starts again with grey mucus like before. What should I do? Can it be TB?

Hi lybrate-user. If the xray was clear then there are less chances of it being TB.
But to confirm you may take further tests like Motux test.
And you can also consider taking homoeopathic treatment.

I had the episode of uti post intercourse like the second day symptoms started of burning micturition and dysuria so took ofloxacin 200 mg for 7 days cue and culture were normal after this course but after 5 days burning micturition, dysuria with severe hematuria started and sample collected the same day showed pus cells, rbc, protein + so now taking levofloxacin 500 mg od and tranexamic acid bd why has my infection not resolved inspite of taking ofloxacin for 7 days?

I am 29 years male. From before 2 month I felt weak urine stream, urine retaining in urethra and frequent urine and urine in drops. I taking alfoo from 45 days and urine stream improved as doc told mild bladder neck but except that all prob is not improved. Went for culture found easily gram positive bacteria took levofloxacin for 1 month but not improved and went for cold and urine test trace protein and pus cell 6_8 and gram negative ecoli. I have ectopic kidney by birth and in ivp found puj and dtpa kidney function is same as before 2 years dtpa test. Kindly advice.

I think you require alfoo for a longer period. You can continue it for as long as you feel comfortable with it. Are you sure your pujo does not require surgery. You have taken a urologist opinion.

Again.after 1 year I am taking cycloserine 500 mg ethambutol 800 mg pyrazinamide 1500 mg levofloxacin 500 mg ethionamide 500 ml cycloserine 500 mg kanamycin 750 ml daily I am both refamcin and isonazide resistance I want to know is this conventional 24 month course or new 12 month short regimen treatment I consult another doctor who. Is saying this is long time course.

I'm.suffering from on and off fever from one week. Doctor prescribed some antibiotics. Like zemcef 200 and calpol for 1st 2 days. Nw levofloxacin and pyrigesic 650. even though it's not controlled. Feeling feverish during morning 10 to evng 4 pm. Fvr is also low grade up to 98 c only. Dengue ,malaria, typhoid tests are normal. Doctor said it is seasonal fevers. But I'm little bit worried why it is not coming to control. Is anything problem. Pls clarify.

Hi, I am suffering from scrotum pain since last 2 months, This make my life uneasy, as I can felt pain while handing my right testis and while folding my legs, pain is very slight and appears sometimes and ultrasound report is normal, I have taken levofloxacin for 10 days I think this is due to any injury as this is happening since Ive insert a toy in my anal deep since that time I am feeling this pain, sometimes I feel the pain in my stomach like after hitting on scrotum. please suggest me some good tablets for minor injury and infection both, and let me know which part should be injured of scrotum or Penis due to inserting in anal.Please suggest me something for that.
