Melasma is a condition which is due to hormones and sunlight increases the pigmentation. Avoid sunexposure from 9 - 5 pm. Do not use Skin lite cream for a long time as it can cause side effects like redness and thinning of skin. You will need proper medication to decrease the pigmentation.

Avoid sunlight as much as possible, if you go in sunlight, use umbrella, cover with dupatta and good sunscreen. Use can consult with dermatologist for chemical peels (glycolic acid plus tretinoin, yellow peel ).
