Dear friend,
It is really very painful to hear that! In fact brain surgery is done for multiple reasons. Sometimes it may be done even as a life saving measure. I don’t know why it was done in case of your son. This is important as the outcome depends on it upto a considerable extent. For example a lesion at left half of brain involving the speech area may affect his speech.
It seems that he might have multiple seizures which was difficult to control requiring multiple anti epileptic dru...more

If there is frequent vomiting since birth / early infancy, as you have described he may be having gastroesophageal reflux, if his weight gain is not appropriate for his age ~8-10 kg, he may need evaluation for his recurrent vomiting, a milk scan which detects gastroesophageal reflux, usg abdomen may be the initial investigations to be done to find his cause of recurrent vomiting

Nothing wrong if you continue 1/2 dose 2-3 times a day for 2 days or so but donât increase the duration of therapy. Donât give it in empty stomach. Can give some ppi as anti ulcer like lanzol junior etc. Talk to your doctor.
As meftal is an anti inflammatory too. Give your child vitamin d supplements if necessary.
