Hello, thanks for the query.
However, the information given is too scanty to give any suggestion or advice. Please inform following details if you want appropriate advice: fasting, pp (after 2 hours), hba1c%, dietary pattern, extent of daily exercise, bp readings and lipid profile. With a random reading there is no way to give any suggestion. Thanks.

What is more important is to have a fair control ( avoid trying to get perfect control ). The body keeps changing and adjusting itself. Give sufficient time for the body to heal naturally. The stress ( anticipation ) can also contribute to many minor problems. Learn to relax by doing something creative ( or learn Yoga and pranayam/ meditation ). Hello, Thanks for the query As you are on certain drugs your body gets adapted to those compounds. Therefore, some times the change in compound between similar drugs may nt give desired results. Trigenta is Linagliptin and Januvita is Sitagliptin, even though both have similar action, dosage is different. So there is a possibilty of different response. Results may improve over a period. You might ask your physician about it. There are still better options for stricter control like GLP! analogues...more

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The reason why blood glucose is not in control can be due to 1) Dietary intake is not as required or it is higher than recommended 2) No or limited exercise which does not burn body's glucose and does not help insulin action 3) Medicine taken may not be adequate. So one has to look at all of these causes and then decide. Thanks.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
Your fasting and PP glucose levels are two high. Which means current treatment is not adequate. There is a need to upgrade the same.
There is a need to know your dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise, lipid profile and BP readings. So please come back with those details, thanks.
