Acne occurs when the pores of your skin become blocked with oil, dead skin, or bacteria. The oil gland releases sebum (oil), which travels up the hair, out of the pore, and onto your skin. The sebum keeps your skin lubricated and soft. One or more problems in this lubrication process can cause acne. Before suggestion I need more information. So, we can discuss it further over a call or video meeting to proceed for most appropriate treatment or guidance.

Do not discontinue, change, modify or alter any medication without the advice of your doctor. These kind of changes can cause relapse. Medication is to be taken for a prescribed period of time. It is not to be discontinued just because you feel better. Risk of relapse is very high in such situations, and relapsed patients are more difficult to treat. Consult your treating psychiatrist about the same. Also consult a dermatologist who will be able to advise you regarding any interaction with other...more

No. Treatment depends on the severity. Fungal infection or ring worm. When occurs in groin, called as jock itch. Usually fungal infection is common in moist areas of body like skin folds. It's mostly circular or round in appearance. May be red or black in colour. Treatment depending on the type and severity. Avoid sharing clothes, towels and soap; sweating also increases it. As it has to be differentiated from eczema and infection, its a must to see and confirm the diagnosis for proper treatment...more

Burning sensation on right side groin area & inner thigh. There are no rashes nor any itching! Past history: 2 months back had burning sensation & minor itching + rash on right side groin area and same cured through antifungal application However the burning sensation resurfaced after a week and been given 3 week course of candiforce 200 mg & funzi mx. Thereon felt better - however symptoms of burning sensation resurfaced. Presently for past 4 weeks - am taking candiforce 200 tablets, luliconazole cream, antihistamines However burning sensation persists and there are no rashes nor any itching. Dermatologists have opined - Though physical examination of affected area does not indicate ANY INFECTION -- however due recent past skin infection -- probably it is tinea Curtis or intertrigo and thereon to continue antifungal medications Please assist.

Wash and dry your skin frequently. Keeping your skin clean is the best way to prevent a ringworm infection. Dark, warm areas of your body are the spots where the fungus can grow most easily, but a ringworm infection can occur almost anywhere on your body. Wash your entire body with soap and water every day, making sure to give attention to your feet, groin, and scalp.
Change your socks and underwear daily.
