Asked for male, 64 years old from Kolkata

I am a patient of severe asthma over last 20 years and formoterol fumerate-budesonide inhaler and tiotropium bromide 9 mcg, also am taking alfusin for enlarged prostate. I am suffering from regular severe epigastric pain in the right side of chest. The pain occurs around 4- 5pm in the evenings. Some days it starts even around 12 noon. My lunchtime is 2 pm. I have tried pantaprazole / rabeprazole, itopride, etc. But the severe pain comes back the next day. I also have the problem of constipation for which I am taking lactulose. What shd I take to combat the pain.

Why I am having continuous mouth and throat ulcers, that too in regular intervals. They generally remain for 5 to 6 days during which I feel like hell in my mouth. No medicine helps to get rid of this problem. Even though I take very healthy diet with balanced nutritions at proper time and avoid junk food, I could not win over this problem. I am 24 years old and facing this problem from last 15 years or more. From last 4 to 6 years I feel severe gas and acidity and chest burn (not heart because it occurs in the right middle side of my chest, burning sensation, more on empty stomach, after meal, on sitting straight. I have taken care of food habits and only take the foods which is anti acidic, still these problems have become unavoidable. I am facing a lot more problems ehuch I can't explain here which are less or more linked to this. I have already consulted a lot of doctors and have performed endoscopy twice. But all are invain. They only provide pentoprazole and itopride medicines, some give antibiotics as my stool is mucotic and not clear in the morning. But the root cause of my problem couldn't be sorted out. Please help sir.

Hi. I am 22 years old. Having problem of chest and upper back pain for over 5 years.In the pursuit of the solution to my problem I have consulted with dozens of doctors. Almost all of them have said that its not a big deal do not you worry and just prescribe some omeprazole tablets. Recently one said its a normal condition known GERD. But how could be this a normal thing that has impaired my life because its disturbing me almost every second day. My problem actually is that: there is pain started in my chest. I do not know where, is it stomach or heart or liver I do not really know but there is a pain in the middle of me chest and then it spread up to my throat and the upper back. This is a scene of almost every other day with only some gaps of may be a week. it often happens at night and some time i am the morning. But the pain is too severe that I can not sit properly nor I can lay straight in bed. Along with the chest and throat pain my upper back pain is so severe that Even I can't have a seat support that hurts with an ugly pain when my back touches the chair support or my bed. Some times the pain goes after an hour or two, some times it lasts for 5 to 6 hours totally disturbing my routine life. Medication: I have used omeprazole 40 mg most of the time as most of the doctors prescribed this. But now for a month I am on medication prescribed by a doctor for GERD. That is. 1.Zantec 150 mg once a day before going to bed. 2. Itopride Hydrochloride 50 mg Current situation The doctor said you have to do some exercise daily but am already an active boy, I do moderate exercise and 10 thousands steps of walking each day. Before starting this one month regime for GERD the scene was that I was encountering the same painful situation everyday mostly in the morning. Its been 2nd week of Starting these medication and there was no pain except a mild pain for 2 to 3 times for half of an hour probably. But the problem is that its again becoming the daily torture for me. Its now 3rd day that have the pains in the morning with the same intensity and interval of 2 to 5 hours. I am using the medications and extremely conscious with my diet and avoid all sorts of things that is not good for stomach specifically in the problem of so called GERD. Mu question What is it? What the hell is going wrong with me ? Can I ever get rid of this so called normal conditions by the doctors? Because these so called normal conditions have destroyed my life. What should I do?

You have acute gastritis most likely so can start with PANTOPRAZOLE + ITOPRIDE Combination ( Protera-I capsule) daily before breakfast and add syrup Aristozyme 2 tsf three times a day x 15 days, will help.

Respected Sir, Age: 37 Gender: Male Status: Married for 3 years Problem: erectile dysfunction & Hypospermia (No erection at all after taking Yohiumbhium Q - 15 drops X 3 times per day) REASON:I have taken Body Plus Ayurvedic body building capsules - 90 capsules (3 times daily X 30 days) 3 years ago. From that time all problem started. But the stool again gets blocked from the next day – please suggest something. Actually the effects of Body plus is going down.

Can medicines for severe acid reflux (GERD) Cause lack of calcium in body if they are taken for a long time like for 3-4 months. It's been 3-4 months since I have started taking them and I am experiencing muscle and joint cramps and pain (No fever, swelling in joints. I got tested for RA factor, ESR blood test. All are normal. Definitely medications for acid reflux like Prescription Drugs like Levosulpride/ Itopride/Esomeprazole/Pantaprazole/Ranitidine etc caused several nutrients deficiencies like Minerals deficiency (Magnesium, Calcium etc) as well as several Enzyme depletion.

I am 21 years female. My stomach is burning after eating and sometimes pain for nearly 3 months. My stomach is even bloating. I took ultrasound scan it is normal and I have done endoscopy. The report showed large hiatus hernia 35 cm. Gastrosurgeon provided gastric tablets like esomeprazole. But the symptoms reoccur when I don't take gastric tablets. What to do? Can you suggest what might be the problem?

You have diagnosed with hiatal hernia on endoscopy.
In hiatus hernia
junction between esophagus and stomuch migrated upward (sliding hiatus hernia)
or part of stomuch mostly fundus migrated in chest cavity
and so its create pressure differance between stomuch and esophagus so your content of stomuch refluxed in esophagus and you get this symptoms
