Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
You have mentioned only fasting glucose, it would have been better if after food values were also given. HbA1c% 8.6, is definitely high. Which means your blood glucose control has not been good during last few months. There is a need to upgrade the present treatment plus a closer look has to be given to your diet and daily exercise. You are on Glibenclamide, an old sulfonylura, it is better to change it to a newer compound. Thanks.

Pioz mfg2 is radially available in India. Your sugar levels are bit high. Januvia is costly drug, you can switch to Tenligliptin of same class which is cheap. As far as Pioz is concerned, you shd rather change it as your weight is high. So bmi. Drawback of Pioz is weight gain. Kindly get your HbA1C done. Feel free to discuss with me.

Dear lybrate-user kumar,
I would prefer that first you check again your medicine properly. Sitagliptin is not available in 20 mg. And more over I can see glycomet gp1, glyconorm g1, tetagliptin* (mostly teneligliptin) in your details.
And if you are checking your sugar levels with glucometer at home, then I would suggest you check once from laboratory and repeat hba1c also from good laboratory.
Without any clear medical history it will be premature to comment regarding to your curren...more

Dear lybrate-user,
your glucometer readings are reasonable for home monitoring purposes and I find that your sugars are under very good control. If possible (i know the covid situation in delhi is bad) get a lab to check your hba1c and if that is < 7, you need not have any anxiety
I suggest home monitoring as follows. Fasting and pp on wednesday and 2 hour after lunch and 2 hours after dinner on sunday and maintain a record. Targets for you would be fasting 80-110 and all post meal value...more
