Infectious mononucleosis (mono) is often called the kissing disease. The virus that causes mono is transmitted through saliva, so you can get it through kissing, but you can also be exposed through a cough or sneeze, or by sharing a glass or food utensils with someone who has mono. However, mononucleosis isn't as contagious as some infections, such as the common cold.
You're most likely to get mononucleosis with all the signs and symptoms if you're an adolescent or young adult. Young childre...more

Hello-
You could get a cold, the flu, mono, HIV, or the herpes virus through kissing if the other person is infected. You can also spread meningitis through saliva. Oral microbiota (found in the saliva and on the tongue) and bacteria (in the saliva) — which can lead to gum disease — can be transmitted through frequent kissing.

Hello lybrate-user. I feel that you could use a separate glass for computer (which would not be progressive or bifocal). It could be mono-focal which would be well suited for your computer usage. Rest of the time, you could use either a progressive or a bifocal glass (according to your convenience). Hope my suggestions helped you. Take care-regards

Please note that most people get better in two to four weeks; however, some people may feel fatigued for several more weeks. Occasionally, the symptoms of infectious mononucleosis can last for six months or longer.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
The product you are referring is Ajinomoto chemically known as Mono Sodium Glutamate (MSG). This added to not only Chinese food but many packaged foods contain it. It stimulate nervous system excessively. Can increase appetite. It is also addictive. It an unhealthy and dangerous chemical, should not be used. It is not made from pigs as you have mentioned. Thanks.
