I am having knee pain since 14 years of age ,as I am growing up the pain is also increasing, currently my age is 26 ,i visited cmc vellore hospital last year in june, they prescribed me vision d with calcium tablet with diaciren 50 mg, vitamin d sachet, and a multivitamin, although I cannot completed the whole medicine because there was no benefit, I also have constipation, I couldn't digest food fully, please look through my matter and guide me in cutting this joint pain, every test were good and there was no lack in any test.

I am a chronic pancreatitis patient. I had visited twice to CMC vellore. After all investigation they prescribed me to take two tablets regularly named pancreatin and pantoprazole. I have taken those for three years. Now I am taking only pantoprazole. Last 2 years is has happened hemoglobin gradually decreasing ,even upto 5-6 mlgm. It is raised to normal after taking livogen tablet (Iron & folic acid) being suggested by a hematologist. Is this downfalling is related to pancreatitis?

The fall in hemoglobin can be attributed to blood loss or lack of blood forming due to absence of iron in food . In your case gastritis may be causing small amounts of blood loss via the intestines and hence the anemia

My son now 14 years, having headache since 03 april 2014. It started with fever. Started putting glass from may 2014. After putting glass the headache reduced by 50%. Fever subside slowly in sep 2014. Headache continued. Non of the tests revealed any abnormality. Reason of fever could not be detected. Whole body scanned including mri of brain, nad. Already visited nimhans bangalore and cmc vellore. Eyes tested ok at lv prasad, cmc and again at bangalore, during oct 2014 to jan 2015, the headache increased 3-4 times daily. Now after giving herbalife food supplement from feb 2015, the increasing has been stopped from 15 feb. The headache is 24x7, on both sides of the head, the superficial temporal arteries pulsating vigorously, can be seen from a distance.

It contains shilajit 25 mg, guggulu 16 mg, vanga bhasma 8 mg, rasa sandu 4 mg, mandir vassa 8 mg, nag vassa 8 mg, lauha vassa 8 mg, maharasnadi karta 100 mg, ashwagandha 80 mg, calcium carbonate 35 mg, calcium phosphate 35 mg, carboxy methyl cellulose 30 mg. Sir, this is the component of a medicine bottle having 40 tablets. It gives little bit relief for her. What's her possible treatment, except knee replacement? Will this ayurvedic product harm her liver or kidney etc? What will reduce her pain?

If she is so disabled get your mothers knee replaced.

Respected Sir, I am suffering from cough since 2 to 3 years. I was under treatment of a local physician but when there is no more relief I went to CMC vellore and was under treatment of Dr. Shakti Kumar Bal, DNB, Asst.prof - Dept. Of Pulmonary Medicine, CMC Vellore. While staying at Vellore I had no problem, but at the returning when I was At Bankura, Westbengal Railway Station then again the cough started, so after return at my home I visited a local physician He gave me some antibiotics and a Cough Syrup Trump-D. But it not work. Whenever I come in contact with cold air the cough started. So I consult the CMC Vellore doctor and he advice me to take MDI Seroflo 125 mch 2 puffs twice daily via spacer MDI Asthalin 100 mcg 2 puffs as and when there is cough in between the doses of Seroflo 125 mcg for three weeks. I am started the Asthalin 100 mcg 2 puffs daily from 01-01-2017 along with when there is cough in between the doses of Seroflo 125 mcg. But still whenever I come in contact with cold air the cough started. One more thing I want to mention that I am working in DAV School, Koyla Nagar as a Lab attd. At Chemistry Lab. One while the Practical was conducting for Std. XII students I have Inhaled Sulphuric Acid and Then Ammonium Hydroxide. After Two or Three days Itching in my throat was started. I am 30 yrs old and I have been diagnosed with Osteonecrosis on the right knee, size of lesion is about 7-8 mm. I am suffering from the pain for the last 01 year but it has not healed on its own. It has been suggested by some doctors that i undergo ACI procedure and by others the BMAC procedure. It has been advised by CMC Vellore that alternatively i can also take the platelet rich plasma injection for healing. The best method of treatment may please be suggested. Considering all of their opinions, i have decided on the BMAC procedure at NH Whitefield, Bangalore or Apollo Chennai. The best for me may please be suggested.

Hello Sir/Madam, My Age-32 years old. I have mild supra tendonitis in left shoulder. It is due to weight lifting in gym. I took treatment from CMC Chandigarh hospital but doctor said it can cure with long time or you have to operate it but operation is not successful every time. So I just want to know can I heal it. I took many medicines and did many exercises that time. This problem is approx. 10 years old. I don't have any problem to lift weight but not like right shoulder. It pains in winter sometimes and while doing work above head like painting and dusting etc. Please help if you can. Your quick reply will be highly appreciated. Thanks.

I have been diagnosed with a medium sized vestibular Schawanoma inside my right ear. I have symptoms of tinnitus & mild sensory neural hearing loss since 5 months. I also consulted a Neurosurgeon at cmc Vellore hospital. They told that there are 3 methods of its treatment. 1) Wait & watch,(2) Surgery,(3) Radiosurgery. Since surgery seems to be risky, so I wanted to go with the 1st option of wait & watch. But during this watching period I thought of going with Ayurvedic treatment. One year ago, LIS surgery was done and I show the discharge summary relating to the surgery to a gastroenterologist in cmc vellore. Due to digestive problem for long time I went to the doctor. Then after doing no of tests doctor diagnosed 1 - functional bowel disease 2- Fissures in ano. Now my question is I have no problem of anal fissure now still why doctor diagnosed fissure in ano? It means once a disease occur then the disease will be going for lifetime period, by treatment disease not cure.

"As" per your clinical history is concerned you have already done LIS surgery so your internal muscle is not tight so there is no chance of fissure at all.So in my guessing, it is a wrong diagnosis so I request you to let me know your clinical history in detail to guide you further.
