Anti depressant medication should be continued for at least one year. Due to depression there occur some chemical changes in brain. Antidepressant medications may reverse this change, which may take many months. After about a year of stablization if there was none relapse of illness, medicines may be gradually tapered before stopping it. So, my advise is to continue medicine as advised.

Hello.
Im sorry to hear that most techniques haven't worked. It is ideal to explore whether the event leading to this panic attack was something major and has left a scar in the mind or the panic attack itself was at such a time and place that the embarrassment has gotten etched in your memory?
Try shifting gears. Start with some "self help" and lifestyle change. If it still doesn't work, perhaps go in for second opinion.
Good luck.
