Lybrate-userji, it appears you have t1 diabetes, (if the age is 14 years), in that case only drug that can be used to control blood glucose is insulin injection. No other drugs are given for t1 diabetes patients. You need to increase the dose of insulin injections both in the morning and night.

Do smbg charting with glucometer.
Good sugar control can limit ed problem in most early cases.
There are certain medications like sildenafil, etc which can help in this condition. Ed can be due to extensive atherosclerosis in pelvic vessels, neural, psychitric, endocrinal etc so investigating the cause is necessary.

Shift k+ from plasma back into the cell: intravenous glucose (25 to 50 g dextrose, or 1-2 amps d50) plus 5-10 you regular insulin will reduce serum potassium levels within 10 to 20 minutes, and the effects last 4 to 6 hours, hyperventilation, β-agonists.
To give you more details the reports and the conditions of your patient is a must.
