Reduce the morning dose of insulin to 30 units. Take tab voglinorm 0.3 mg along with food thrice a day. Measure your blood sugar levels with a glucometer before & 2 hours after each major meal (ie, a total of 6 readings). Also try to measure your blood sugar levels when you have symptoms like sweating & uneasiness. We can then decide.

The most important question here is whether your sugar is controlled or not. If your sugar crosses the level of 180 mg/dl then weight gain would not happen. Beyond 180 mg/dl - our kidneys start to excrete sugars in urine. So whatever you eat and digest - ultimately making glucose in the body will get eliminated in your urine. Hence to aim for weight gain - your sugar control below 180 mg/dl is paramount.

Insulin is the best drug for treating diabetes. Usually in T2 DM it is used along with oral drugs. Shifting to some ayurvedic combination is not going to be any benefit at all. For all your problems your short time sugar levels should be within normal range like in different time of day on getting up after food and during sleeping hours.
