This syp is pretty much the same as you have been given earlier. These are viral infection which usually settle in their own. However antibiotics are needed if secondary infection develops as evidenced by fever and toxicity. Continue with mild remedies. If the cough does settle within a few days, see a doc.

Anxiety and worries can do anything to your health. Be practical why and what your thinking of? If there is any problem in your life then there is way to get out of it. Try to find that way rather than thinking negative thing. Negativity is the main cause of any problem. Soo start think positive. Take deep breath for 10-15 min. Walk regularly in the morning. Do whatever you like the best. Listen soft instrumental song. Call your old friend. Just go away from the routine daily life. Meditation is...more

Hello doctor! I have accidentally taken an overdose of salbutamol sulphate (90 ml= 38 mg), where as prescription for a patient is 4 mg a day only. It has happened on 28th december 2016 and it has been 5 days now but I still feel full body jerk and heat inside the body most of the time. However on 28th after an hour of taking the medicine my pulse rate was 135 per minute and BP WAS 145/90. But it got normal on the other day on 29th. But jerking is not going away. I feel very very sorry that I took this medicine without any prescription and without any need. I just had it without any motive. It just happened I can not even explain why I did such foolish and life threatening act. I was so stupid and I would never do that again in my life but right now I need you and I need you to let me live by helping me how to get rid of this problem. What should I do now? Thanks a lot and thank you very much. A help would be very appreciable and very enough to be noticed.

lybrate-user! Do not worry, your excess consumption of Salbutamol can give rise to increased heart rate, increased blood pressure and muscular jerks. All of them will reduce in due course of time. Have coconut water / thrice a day for 2 days and have a banana (if you are not allergic to it) thrice a day for 2 days. This will help. Don't worry, You will be alright and make sure that you don't commit the same mistake of over dose again.

I have asthma from last 2-3 years (that's what I discovered when I continuously do coughing in a sudden weather change). I took budetrol 200 for 1 month and then I looked homeopathy solutions instead of taking inhalers for a very long time (i'm 33 running) have been taking homeopathy medicine from almost 2 months now but many of the times I need to take inhaler once a day. (currently I am taking salbutamol sulphate rotacaps 200 mcg) I want to know is this ever curable? Is there any test to know the trigger agent (food/atmosphere/etc.)? Is there any exercise that I do permanently long time and it helps to always control and I do not feel the need of taking inhalers to breathe properly? Is there any surgery or something else? I feel practically its very tough to take care of yourself from the precautionary measures to be taken (like do not eat this/do not stay in ac/do not go to cold weather/etc.)

Hello, for asthma treatment there are two types of medication, controller and reliver.
Controller is to be taken regularly to avoid exacerbation and reliver is to be taken only during emergency purpose. Asthalin is a reliver.
So to get your asthma in control you need to get yourself checked from a chest physician and start a proper controller therapy.
If you feel the need to take asthalin once a day meaning other treatments are clearly not working! tc.
