Asked for female, 25 years old from Visakhapatnam

5 months ago I did mnrf (micro needling rf) and my skin was awful then first I was prescribed clobetasone but it was’t useful then I started using mometasone for more than 2 months then day by day skin became worse, then I was prescribed tacrolimus 0/1% it was helped me so much but even after 5 months my skin is red and darker than others parts of my skin, I changed my dermatologist just recently he told me this is steroid induced rosacea (tsdf) and I was prescribed ivermectin 12 mg for 4 weeks once, doxycycline 100 daily once, pimecrolimus 0/1%,brimonidine gel sometimes my skin is very red. Now I wanna know this treatment is good and also I this pimecrolimus can’t treat redness as equal as tacrolimus although pimecrolimus won’t make skin sensitive and itching shall I continue this treatment without any doubt?

Hi I am26 years old girl. I have been using clobetsale propionate gentamicin sulphate cream on my face for 7 years. But now I am not use this cream instead of this cream I use the mixture ofalovera gale nd lemon juice, olive oil. If I am not apply this cream on my face at night next morning my face look s so dull , dark nd blemishes. My whole body colour is very fair. Except my face. I have sensitive skin. My face looks fair if I apply this cream at night. Will please suggest me to how can I quit to using this cream. Please give some cheap or effective method. Or something home remedies to get rid of this problem. Thank you.

Health Query

I have been prescribed ornidazole and ofloxacin for pain in my bladder and stomach. Still mild pain exist after completed 10 days course. So I ordered urine culture test myself. Result e coli is observed urine color: pale yellow, clear ntu, 50000 cfu/ml. Resistant to ciprofloxacin, cefoperazone/sulbactam, piperacillinTazobactum,ERTAPENEM, cefepime/Tazobatum, nitrofurantoin, ceftriaxone/Tazobatum, meropenem,cefixime. Sensitive to gentamicin, amikacin,Tygecyclin, fosfomycin. Is the infection low or high? Should I consult doctor? What should I do to completely get rid of the infection?

I will suggest you to contact your treating doctor and Apart from taking symptomatic treatment I usually prefer giving you tablet Zifi-O 200 mg twelve hourly and we can confirm your symptoms after three days or else we will have to go for injection therapy after clinical examination.

You will have to contact your doctor again and in my opinion, Apart from taking symptomatic treatment take tablet Zifi-O after contacting your doctor and within three days infection needs to be under control.

Urine culture report observed occasional pus cells many gram negative bacilli, occasional gram positive cocci in pairs and scattered seen. Organisms isolated is escherichia coli and the colony count cfu/ml identified as >1,00,000 is there an uti infection observed with this report. Do I need to take any antibiotic for this as report suggest that amikacin, gentamicin, nitrofurantoin, tetracycline, trimethoprim sulfamethoxazole are sensitive and amoxicillin/clavulanic acid, cefixime, cefotaxime, ciprofloxacin, norfloxacin are resistant. Does this have any clinical implications. Kindly suggest.

I'm 42 years old man, I have been battling with fungi skin disease for almost a year now, serious itching/irritation especially in a warm condition and when the weather is hot, that itching has peeled off my scrotum and anus skin area away. I'm equally having sore/wound above the anus area persistently. I have met with different dermatologists with different test like infection and diabetics but I was free, I have taken anti fungi drugs and creams like quadriclear, globatin and the likes that contains betamethasone dipropionate, gentamicin sulfate, clioquinol. Dear sir, I am 31 years old n having tenia around my genital part and back on hips for 2 years back. I had treatment with allopathic for long time even changed the medication also like I tried terbinafine, itraconazole, fluconazole with lukofast, chloropheloranamine & cetirizine. Also antifungal soap and cream clotrimazole miconazole with gentamicin, clobetasol propionate, toflanate, neomycin borax, and ketoconazole but no relief properly. Sometimes it relieves sometime not sometime clears skin as no rashes but again starts as it is in broad spread. Like rashes. Red patches like swelled skin sometimes rings with pus around border.
