Dear lybrate user. Grief after loosing a beloved one from life is a common phenomenon and is normal to happen. But in your case its been one month and you are struggling with low mood and lack of interest with other signs of depression. I would advice you to start treatment from a psychiatrist on an urgent basis. I hope you take step in a proper direction. Take care.

Treatment is to achieve strict glucose control (fbg < 100 mg, pp 150 to 160 mg & hba1c% <6.5%), plus take drugs that are supposed to be helping in improving nerve function and control the symptoms.
