Rheumatoid arthritis is a self limiting disease. Acute phase can be managed with medicines. Physiotherapy helps in preventing contractures & deformities. Keep your moral up!

Dear lybrate-user,
I am a Physiotherapist and would advice that you visit a nearest Physiotherapy clinic in your town. You may do some home remedy like soaking your hand in warm luke water for 30 min, two times a day. You also need to do isometrics and Range of motion exericses which would further decrease the pain. For your pain management you may also seek advise from a Rheumatologist.
Best wishes.
