Alcohol is devoid of any nutrients and provides empty calories only thus leading to quick weight gain. It also causes liver damage and reduces proper food intake. 1 peg of alcohol = 75-100 calories. Red wine is a better option as it has antioxidants. 1-2 pegs of red wine daily is preferable to any other form of alcohol.

There is no benefit of alcohol. It has no health benefits. It will spoil your health and once you are addicted you can not leave it. It is better to stop such habits when you are young. Focus on good diet, eat healthy and live healthy.

Hello-
Since few drinks here and there ain’t enough to cause any dramatic reductions in testosterone. When it comes to alcohol and testosterone, it’s the dose that counts.

However, if you’re an alcoholic, and drinking yourself to the point of passing out on several days of the week, then you can be damn sure that your testosterone production has tanked (and you probably know this yourself already because of the negative effects it has on sexual functioning).
