You need to see a physician 1st & then start medicine, cough doesnot always mean chest infection, so antibiotic will not help you out if it is not due to infection, rather it would harm you in different way by making any of the microrganisms be it commensal or pathogenic (commensal can turn pathogenic if colony count becomes more than allowed level or if patient is immunocompromised, etc.) resistant to that particular antibiotic & related antibiotics which you will spread through your handshake,...more

take sinarest one tab at night for 3 days. take honitus 2 tsf 2 times a day for 3 days. do gargle, take steam. inform if not ok.

you are very right about normal range of tsh levels. At 8.5 milli units/ml, with normal t4, the condition is classified as sub- clinical hypothyroidism. This normally is not treated with any drugs.
