For a person with pre-diabetes there is no need for any medication to control blood glucose. Only lifestyle modification and diet changes are sufficient to prevent progression to diabetes.
The very fact that you are on oral antidiabetic drugs that too two different combinations, means you have diabetes. Since there are no levels mentioned or HbA1c%, there is no way to find out what is the condition. Thanks.

It is not as easy task to control blood sugar in the desired normal range. Whatever we eat is metabolised to sugar in the body to provide energy for our daily activities.
