Dear lybrate-user,
as per your symptoms your are experiencing hypoglycemia i.e low blood sugar level, I suggest you to monitor blood sugar level at that time by glucometer and inform your doctor regarding the episode mean while to avoid hypoglycemia kindly have a meal at times and always carry something to eat so that you will not get low sugar's.
Other tab can be given for you and which cannot cause low sugars too.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is difficult give a clear answer whether a SGLT - 2 Inhibitor can be added to existing therapy withput knowing full details of the case. I need to know the following: Fasting, PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, serum creatinine & urea levels, eGFR and whethe there is microalbuminura. If kidney function is compromised or eGFR is low, then certain drugs can not be sude including metformin and SGLT-2 Inhibitors. Thanks.

Therefore, it appears your present treatment is not proper. I need to know following things for giving any suggestions: fasting & PP glucose levels, HbA1c%, present dietary pattern and extent of daily exercise. Looking at your weight and height it is clear that with a BMI of 28.23 kgs/Sq meter (normal < 23 kgs/S...more
