Mr Vasudev, Thanks for the query.
You are multiple drugs for controlling blood glucose. The reason these drugs have been prescribed must be improperly controlled blood glucose. Plus you are also on a drug combination to reduce LDL & TGL. There is nothing like high or low dose. Drugs are given based on the need. Since there is no mention of either fasting, PP glucose HbA1c% or lipid profile, it is difficult to know how good the control is. Thanks.

Hello, Thanks for the query.
It is very difficult to understand what you mean by"Glimepiride & Metformin are not working". As no details about blood glucose (fasting & PP levels) HbA1c% are given. So my suggestion is please come back with all the following details : Current fasting, Pp glucose levels, HbA1c%, weight, height, extent of daily exercise, diet pattern, lipid profile and BP readings. After going through those details I will be able to guide. Thanks.

Along with medicines follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

Mr. lybrate-user, thanks for the query.
I have gone through the details mentioned. It is good to know that your glucose levels (fasting & after food) are in control. It would have been better if you had given the hba1c% too, as that gives a clearer picture of glucose control over previous 3 months or so.
There is no mention of your weight, height, extent of daily exercise and dietary pattern. Please let me know whether you had any injury before the development of the stiffness & discomfo...more
