If you are not able to go for a walk daily, then stay active in some form or other like climbing stairs at your home. Secondly, for leg pain dip your legs in warm water daily before going to bed, it improves blood circulation.

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. Where you have just mentioned abut having t2 dm and medications being taken. But there is no mention of either fasting, pp glucose, or hba1c%, as well as any complaints that you are having. Hence, without knowing any information there is no way to comment any further. However, one important aspect is that with a bmi (body mass index) of 32.19 kg/sq meter (normal < 23 kg? Sq meter) yu are already in grade 1 obesity. Your ideal bo...more

Hello, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details given. Following are my observations: 1) her hba1c% is too high, similarly fasting and pp glucose levels are also very high. This suggests her present treatment is not working well. There is an urgent need for up grade.
2) with a bmi of 31.45 kgs/sq meter, she is already in grade 1 obesity, carrying an excess of over 20 kgs. This itself is a hindrance in achieving better glucose control.
3) I need to know her dietary pattern, exten...more

Mr. lybrate-user ganguli, thanks for the query.
I have seen the details mentioned. You have given details only about the medications that you are taking with their dosage, but there is absolutely no information on dietary pattern & extent of daily exercise. Since you are already on 4 oral anti-diabetic drugs, there is no need for an additional one. What is needed is to look at your diet and exercise as well as overall lifestyle. Because in diabetes diet, exercise and weight control play majo...more

Nitrosamines increase the risk of cancer at above acceptable levels over long periods of time. We don't expect short term exposure at levels above acceptable levels would increase cancer. However, consult a good physician for further information in this regard.
