Yes progesterone help in conceiving by making your uterus relaxed and producing an environment suitable for the baby grow inside the uterus. Some may feel bloating and nauseating due to the tablet.

This is nisha27 week pregnant. Now. I have taken duphaston 20 mg per day until 25 week. And also taken injections pregsafe2 ml. Weekly once. Now my physician changed the tablet sustain 200 mg twice a day. And also said to continue injection until 37 weeks. Taking of progesterone pills. And injection can take both. Is good or not. This is my natural pregnancy. I have not taken any infertility treatment before that. Even though why they r prescribing these to. If we take more progesterone can lead any side effects. I having doubt about these. Natural conception not need any additional hormonal drug. Injection. Body it self is produce automatically. If the hormones level is less. Or lack only we need to take this drugs form and injections form. The physician will not check my hormonal level also. Then why they r prescribing to take these two. It is safe or not. How to know my hormones is everything is normal. Is there any specific blood test for that to detect my hormonal level during my pregnancy please suggest. My physician also not tell to take any hormone test but they r prescribing to take progesterone injection. And pills. Pls tell is there any way to find out my my normal. Or abnormal. Or lacking hormones in my body. Tell the test names.

Excess progesterones and injections can have side effects on the liver. Ask your gynaec if thereâs any particular risk factor in your pregnancy for continuing the tablets and injections, such as low lying placenta/ twins/ bleeding in early pregnancy, or certain blood disorders like thrombophilias. If none of these are present in your pregnancy, then you could just continue susten capsule for up to 34 weeks and then stop all hormonal medications.

I'm 32 years, I had my last periods on 18th march 2016, I did my pregnancy blood test on 25th April 2016 my serum beta hcg level was 200.5 and on 27th April 2016 it was 334.4. Is it normal? I've had a ultrasound sonography 6 months back and had a small polyps in mid body of the uterus measuring 7 * 4 mm, will it affect my pregnancy. Currently I'm taking folic acid and progesterone susten 200 tablets, pls advice.

Beta HCG levels are ok, need your current usg report. If you have been able to conceive with the polyp it should not cause sn abortion, however exact location is not mentioned here, stress on rest, and progestetone supplements

Pregnancy test is +ve (βHCg 1600 on 1st August, progesterone 12.44 ), it's thru IVF ,FET on 16th july, LMD 24th June . Haven't done SONOGRAPHY as of now, on medication 1.Progynova thrice -(2-2-3) daily 2.Crinone gel - twice 3.susten every 4th day 4.folvite once daily 5.Aspirin 50 mg at bedtime ? When to stop baby aspirin? As per my gynecologist sooner after Sonography pregnancy confirmation, we can stop baby aspirin. Aspirin was started from 10 days before transfer in order to increase uterine blood flow. Please guide further.

Dear lybrate-user, from the reports stated by you it looks good and everything seems to be proper. Trust your gynaecologist with aspirin with respect to its use and stoppage. It is different for different cases of ivf depending on the patients requirement, which he will be able to judge better as per her pregnancy progress.

If you have crossed 12 weeks then there is no point to take progesterone as the placenta takes over it. You can stop progesterone after 12 weeks of pregnancy.

Hi am 14 week pregnant. On my 12 week nt scan I diagnosed with low lying placenta and retroplacental hematoma size 3*2.5 cm. And am in an moderate bed rest .only by the scan I was diagnosed I have no symptoms at all no bleeding not even a spotting. And my Dr. advice me to take ecosprin 150 and progesterone (susten200) thrice a day. I am seems so worried and confused and I feel stressed. Pls give me your suggestions. And this is my second child. First I gave by emergency c section on her 38 the week.

I get intimate on 28 December with no penis insertion and no ejaculation on that day. And taken progesterone tablet susten200 for period to come earlier because of marriage function. This tablet taken on 8,9,10 January 2019. Then on 13 Jan I have little bleeding. And on 14 Jan have two full pad. And on 15 two half pad. Rest day till 18 I got discharge during urination. So this was my mensuration. please reply and am I not pregnant? Color of flow is dark red starting i.e till third day later became brown after third day .ppz need your suggestion.
