About Ganaton Total Capsule

Ganaton Total Capsule fall under the category of proton pump inhibitors in combination with a prokinetic benzamide derivative. These tablets are generally used to treat a variety of gastrointestinal problems like GERD, peptic ulcers, acid reflux, Gastrin-secreting tumor, gastric ulcer.

The way this tablet works is that it inhibit the overall production of acids within the stomach. It does this by inhibiting the acid pumping cells that are present within the lining of the stomach. As a result, this medication is able to treat most issues that arise due to an excess of stomach acid.

This medication is available in the form of a pill and thus must be taken orally. However, if a patient is in a hospital setting, then a doctor can also administer the medication intravenously. This medication requires a prescription for you to buy it and use it.

It can result in a few side effects such as joint pain, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, blurred vision, vomiting, dizziness, stomach pain and headaches.

It also acts by inhibiting dopamine D2 receptors and enzymes that break down acetylcholine. Thus, the concentration of acetylcholine is increased resulting in increased motility.
