Tablet obimet contains metformin. Whereas vildagliptin is a different compound. These drugs are usaully combined together. But whether to to one or both depends on the glucose levels, hba1c%, I can not answer without all the necessary details. Thanks.

Is your blood sugar under control. It can be because of decreased level of vit b12 orbit d. U need to start supplements for that. Also follow diabetes diet which simply means eating the healthiest foods in moderate amounts and sticking to regular mealtimes. A diabetes diet is a healthy-eating plan that's naturally rich in nutrients and low in fat and calories. Key elements are fruits, vegetables and whole grains.

I have seen the details mentioned. The glucose levels mentioned look quite good. What is the current hba1c%? That is important to know how the diabetes is controlled. At your age ideally fbg should be < 100 mg, pp 150 to 1660 mg & hba1c% < 6.5%. That kind of control will help in remaining fit and free from long term complications of diabetes. As regards taking ayurvedic medication you can take that as an add on therapy. But do not discontinue the present medicati...more
