Hi
becosule contains only 15 mcg of methylcobalamine (b12) but also has other vitamin b complexes. So it should be fine to take both of them. Also at yoyears age, I would advice you to start taking calcium and d3 after going for dexa scan as with age, calcium and d3 deficiencies are common cause of weak bones. Regards.

I think first of all you should take treatment for abdominal discomfort and hyperacidity. Avoid allopathic medication specially pain killers. Prefer ayurvedic treatment for best results. Avoid tea, coffee, spicy food, rice and curd.

Hello, I have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia (with the tender points test) but have not had a proper detailed understanding of it from the 2 doctors I consulted. I have been asked to take pregabalin sustained release 75 mg and methylcobalamin 1500 mcg for a month and then do myofascial release therapy. I am not keen to take the medications as I prefer to try the physiotherapy first and understand this better and then if nothing else helps and pain becomes very difficult, only then move into medications. To understand it better I joined an online support group and in the process came across other symptoms I seem to have experienced at different times over the last year, but not sure. These include: - out of nowhere migraines headaches (usually mine are triggered by strong smells, skipping breakfast or too much loud noise) - a slightly mild body temperature once in a while - sudden full body pain (like flu body pain) but no fever and no other discomfort for 2 days and it went away. - sitting down, kneeling, or sitting cross legged brings pain to the areas behind my knees. I am 41 years old woman and sometimes I feel like with all these dull aches and pains I am maybe 70-80. But do not want to talk about it cause its embarrassing that someone young as me has all these pains and aches and discomforts. I walk daily about 5-7 km as part of my daily exercise and I try to stay low carb or on keto as it helps manage the migraines and energy levels. I need to find a doctor who has a really deep understanding of fibromyalgia and help me understand it. Thank you.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Symptoms resemble those of arthritis, but fibromyalgia affects the soft tissue, not the joints. The cause is unknown, but risk factors include traumatic injury, rheumatoid arthritis and other autoimmune disorders, such as lupus, and genetic factors.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Pregabalin is not used for the treatment of diabetes but for neuropathic pain due to diabetes It will be good if you control your blood sugar levels and request doctor to give you other medications belonging to the same group
Many times patient may require to start with a low dose and then gradually increase the dose.

Lyrica may cause serious allergic reactions. In extreme cases, these reactions could be fatal.
While taking Lyrica, your mental health may change unexpectedly, and you may develop suicidal thoughts or behaviors.
If you have diabetes, you should monitor your skin carefully for sores while taking Lyrica. Be sure to contact your doctor right away if you develop any sores, redness, or skin problems.
The drug may also cause a buildup of fluid in your lower limbs.
