Hi. Initially for an infected sebaceous cyst, oral antibiotics will be required to decrease the infection and it's size. Then excision will be required with suturing. The cost, number of stitches and recovery period depend on size and location of the cyst.

Hello dear
you should get proper evaluation for your acne. Recurrent acne in your age group is common. I suggest you get a complete hormone profile and an ultrasound abdomen done to rule out pcos. Treatment depends on the grade and severity of your acne. You may continue using adaplene gel at night and cetaphil cleanser first thing in the morning.
Schedule an online consultation for accurate diagnosis and treatment.

Mr. lybrate-user, Thanks for the query.
It would have been better if you had mentioned actual blood glucose value and HbA1c%, to know exactly how good is the control. Ideally FBG should be < 100 mg, PP 150 to 160 mg & HbA1c% <6.8 to say one has good control.
In diabetes some times blood supply to lower limbs does get affected, which causes slower healing in addition to presence of excess glucose in the blood.
The drugs prescribed are good enough, to help healing. Thanks.
