I had undergone a cardiac By Pass surgery at Escorts hospital 4 months ago.While I am feeling much better after the surgery,I feel I am deep breathing and short of breadth while walking or climbing stairs.There is no pain but I am short of breath.I walk half an hour each both mornings and evenings but if you are by my side you can hear me take deep breath and pant if I halt and talk to you. Is it normal.I am taking one tab of fruselac ( earlier lasilactone) which induces frequent urination for 4-5 hours..What should I do as I do not enjoy walking .

I would recommend you to have a 2d echo done to know the ejection fraction of your heart. you seem to have a heart failure.

This question is for my mother age 53. One month before she had problem like little breathing problem, She was admitted for 5 days and as per ECG Report, diagonises was" DCM with global hypokinesia with mild Mr. with mild TR with severe LV dysfunction" Then doctor had given these medicines- DIGON 0.25, GLYNIT 2.6, FRUSELAC, ROM-DSR, ZYLO-M and KAVACHGOLD. She is taking these medicines as per prescription, but she is now facing problems like vomiting, dizziness, not able to eat, not liking food, latrine not happening but urine is regular. Are these symptoms due to side effects of these medicines? How long these medicines have to be taken? Or its some other issues like sugar bp etc. Sugar was around 120 and 164. Please suggest me what to do.

Yes symptoms are mixture of disease as well as side effects of the allopathic medicine.
Allopathic medicine will need to be taken life long..
The sugar is also quite high.
Need more information to find other causes..
My suggestion is to start homoeopathic treatment..
It will reduce the side effects and even can stop some of the harmful allopathic medicine..

My mother (Age 50) was a diabetic, adeno carcinoma stomach (since 1 year) with heart stent was placed 5 years ago. She has edema in her legs, ankle, thigh since 3 days. When we consulted regional cancer centre they have tested the blood. In blood test we have noticed that the albumin is 1.4 gm/dL and protein was 3.4 gm/dL. She is feeling heavy in her abdomen and we have gone for tapping and found that no fluid was coming out and still my mother was feeling heavy in her abdomen serum creatinine test was normal (1). She was using furosemide (water pill) but she was not getting urine frequently it was 500 mL to 1000 mL per day she can't eat anything she is feeling heavy. Doctor said that eat high protein food we are giving 3 eggs per day and milk with protein powder. What to do now? Please give me a suggestion.

Mam, please see a cardiologist also. The edema can be due to the cardiac condition. Please get a Pet-CT to assess the situation of the stomach cancer. If she has omental metastasis even then she can have abdominal distention with loss of appetite. You haven't mentioned any ultrasound or CT report. 400 ml urine is enough for a normal adult. Hence she needs further investigation for us to have a clear picture.

She will need some restrictions, supervised physiotherapy (hot packs, ift, tens, followed by neck stretching and shoulder shrugging exercises), some medication, and investigations (xrays/mri depending on severity of symptoms)

I am 21 years old female. I have been suffering from pcos for the past 7 years. I have very irregular periods. On top of it I have severe hirsutism. The hair growth on my face is very thick and fast. I have very dark patches across my neck, armpits,groin etc. I also have thyroid. All other tests like ketostreroids, hydroxy progesterone, prolactin,diabetes, dheas etc are found normal. I have also gone for laser treatment for a year but it did not workout. Right now I am using metformin, thyronorm-100 mcg, diane-35 and spironolactone. Hello Doctor, I am 25 years old and have PCOD since 2015. Earlier I was taking a homeopathic treatment for this but recently I was diagnosed with vaginitis by an allopathy doctor and also I told her about my pcod and she put me on doris20, enshapeGC & spironolactone tablets. I’m a bit confused because I know doris20 is a contraceptive nd once I’ll stop it i’ll come back to the same position. But I want to know is there any permanent solution to pcod or do I have to stay with it for my whole life? Also my period flow was very less than the normal this time, is it because of vaginitis or something else & should I be worried about it?

I am 23 years old and born male, I currently take estradiol and spironolactone for gender dysphoria (I am transgender and in the process of transitioning to a woman. For 8 months have been having issues with frequent urination peeing 5 liters a day (during the night I pee 2 liters) and have lost 20 lbs without changing my diet or increasing physical activity. This has been causing issues with living a normal life. I have been tested negative for autoimmune diseases and diabetes. I've been diagnosed with CKD but I've been told my urination isn't being caused by that. Doctors have told me I'm healthy and nothing is wrong but my quality of life has greatly decreased.

I am an 18 year old female with PCOS currently taking spironolactone, Victoza and cyclic progesterone. I recently had a viral infection that caused severe vomiting so I paused my medications (the ER doctor said to). After getting better, I was planning on starting my medications back up but I now I'm having insufferable diarrhea. I've noticed that I've been getting diarrhea quite often, on or off the medications, and it's usually accompanied by severe abdominal pain on my upper right side. My latest blood test (about 2 months ago) was quite good with the only concerning stats being an increased level of prolactin. I've had this recurring diarrhea for about 5 months and I'm getting sick of it. Please help!

I am looking for a way to help my daughter. She is 25 years old and was diagnosed with pcos when she was around 13 years old. We tried laser therapy to help with the hirsutism when she was 15-16. It made the problem much worse and now she has to shave her face daily and at the end of the day you can still notice hair growth. She is so embarrassed that she hasn’t seen a Dr. for her pcos for years. She hasn’t had a period for over 2 years and won’t date because if it. She thinks every Dr. will put her on birth control and spironolactone which has not worked in the past. I have two questions. Can you recommend a specialist in the denver, co area? Single episode of laser will not help her she has to undergo multiple settings to get it done but when you combine oral contraceptive pills it will be effective while having the trial of epilation.
