You are anemic and treatment is not iron but vitamin b12 & folic acid. Macro means large +cytic means cell = macrocytic means red blood cells are large but are normochromic (normal in color - heam color is red, given by iron to blood forming cells called rbcs) macroovalocytes means abnormal large blood cells rbcs which are not routinely present. Take b 12 & folic acid + high protein diet + vitamin c in food to correct anemia. Get tested again after 2 months.
