Orofer-xt tablet contains folic acid that is essential to numerous bodily functions ranging from nucleotide biosynthesis to the remethylation of homocysteine. It is especially important during periods of rapid cell division and growth. Both children and adults require folic acid to produce healthy red blood cells and prevent anaemia.

Ideal thing to do is consult a doctor before titrating your dose. However please note that to give orofer best time would be in morning hours while the child is almost empty stomach. Ostocalcium must not be given together with orofer, the best way is to keep a 2-4 hours gap, and give suitably with milk.
