You can consume vegetables that are rich in iron eg spinach, drumstick, drumstick leaves, etc. Eggs are a good source and so is fish and meat. You need not have to worry about medicine. These will automatically increase your iron stores in you bod which will help in increasing the hb.

Hello, First of all Take your Medicine Course regularly. Dietary sources for iron - Dates, Pomegranate, Spinach, Beetroot, Dry anjir, Almonds, all types of cereals etc. You can have Vit. C food in your diet as it enhances absorption of iron. So have Amla, Oranges, Nimbu in your diet. Follow Diet regularly. Check Your Haemoglobin after 3 months.

Person taking iron supplements should check his/her complete hemogram by blood test. Get your blood test done for assessing the hemoglobin and blood indices to know about the efficacy of the supplements.
