Hi thanks for your query and welcome to lybrate. I am Dr. Akshay from fortis hospital, new delhi.
My opinion to you will be to consult with a general physician as you do not seem to be having an orthopaedic issue. Do not hesitate to contact me if you need any further assistance. You can also discuss your case and treatment plans with me in a greater detail in a private consultation.

@ avoid going to sleep before 2 hrs of dinner
@ avoid chocolates, peppermint, fried foods, food items made from Maida
@ drink at least 7-8 cases of water a day

Rantac or famocid may not help, you should visit a gastroenterologist near you who may do an endoscopy (it takes 3-4 minutes to undergo one) He/she would prescribe appropriate medicines. The course may last 2-3 months etc and you'll feel better. Do not get scared it's a common problem with a solution.

These are symptoms of irritable bowl. Metformin may cause these symptoms. I would recommend to reduce dose of metformin to half of what you are taking. Do not take soda based drinks as it worsens irritable bowl. Try to reduce and gradually stop metformin by following strict diet and exercise. Also I would recommend you to check thyroid tests. Also try to avoid wheat/ maida completely for one month from your diet. This may help you. If still you find problems, please consult some other doctor.

Mr.C.P Poddar, since your work profile does not permit you for any kind of exercise you can do certain stretches while you are working at your table. They are easily available online as well as take frequent breaks from your desk and walk around in the office premise itself.
Also ensure you do not consume heavy meals at one go. Consume 5-6 small meals every 2-3 hrs and munch on light snacks in between meals.

Hello.. a diet rich in fiber will help reduce constipation , piles if taken along with homeopathic medicine.
Homeopathic medicine like Nux Vomica , Lycopodium ,Bryonia Alba, Alumina, Opium, and Silicea are effective medicines..it has the ability to treat chronic constipation at the root level and thus, do away with the need to use laxatives
no side effects..
