Hello dear Lybrate user,
Warm welcome to Lybrate.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly. Levipil can be taken safely for years say 4-5 years as well.
Head ache is common side effect of it. There will be no memory loss. Hope this clears your query. Wishing you fine recovery. Welcome for any further assistance at my private URL

Consult your doctor to change Levera to Eptoin. Behavioral issues do come up in some patients on Levera.

Please consult your doctor again. You can ask these doubts to him. Serious health related queries cannot be done online. Also, best if you get a heart checkup.

You have epilepsy, that is recurrent tendency to seize or have fits. Medications available for the same help in controlling the frequency of fit and maintaining a stable seizure free state. Duration for continuation of treatmnet depends upon how what was the seizure free interval while on medications. If this was more than 3 years, then medications can be considered for tapering and stopping treatmnet. However this has to be done under the close supervision of the treating physician.
