Asked for male, 22 years old from Coimbatore

I am unmarried girl having right endometriosis cyts of size 4.4 cm on mri showing some adhesions. Have pain which is tolerable. Whether surgery required? If so after surgery is it necessary to use mirena / dienogest till pregnancy to prevent recurrence? Whether there will be any complication if we controlled periods for more than a year?

Hello doctors, I am 34 years and for the last 3-4 months I am experiencing a sharp pain in the abdominal area which remains for few minutes. And also there is constant gas formation which sometimes leads to headache and body ache. I would like to tell that for the past one year I was going through a treatment for endometriosis, where the cyst was successfully removed through surgery. And take medicine- dinofirst as prescribed. Please guide me in this regard as sometime the pain is unbearable.

And taking loette tablets twice a day. Two doctors have prescribed me two types of medicine, dinofirst and loette. Which tablet should I take and if I take one loette tablet I am bleeding so I am taking two but if I take two tablets will there be any harm?

Loette is a low dose ocp. If you are bleeding with loette either you aren't taking it properly or you need a different composition. Two tabs isn't right. Depending on your symptoms and size of cyst the type of medicine dinofirst or loette is decided. For relief proper treatment is necessary.

I am 43 years female I was having periods since feb 2015 some time continuously for 20 days, then gap for one week then start heavy bleeding with clots then stop after one or two days again start after one or two days with sever pain, this is going on since feb. I consulted a doctor he advised dienogest tablet 1/ day, where ultrasound shows nothing unusual except bulky in size uterus, suggest me what can be the cause of this bleeding is it some serious problem? or some other test are required? should I keep on taking dienogest tablet? is it a suitable medicine? or it has some side effect?

Hi I am 30 years old and had ovarian cyst for which I am taking dienogest 2 mg medicine since 2 weeks but before that I was taking "visanne" now as I am taking dienogest, I am having severe headache and also if I walk little bit or just take evening walk. I feel very much pain in my abdomen and bleeding which is very uncomfortable and painful. I want to know why such bleeding/pain whereas earlier when I was taking "visanne" there was no such pain. Hi lybrate-user. Visanne or dienogest are same composition and dose. So I don't think there's much difference regarding the tablets. But I want to know the size of the cyst, your last period date and when did you start taking visanne all these details. Please send me the reports and your details so that I can give treatment accordingly.
