If it is with an intent to die, please observe that the intent to die comes and goes away by itself. i am sure by now, you would found some reason to live. There are no unresolvable problem in this world. By now you know trying to die, is not a solution. You can take clonotril or alprazolam when you are not in an asthmatic attack , if only there is absolute need

You shouldn’t take medications without adequate assessment and advise of psychiatrist. If you continue to feel depressed despite the antidepressant then dosage may be increased or the medication can be reviewed and changed. Alprazolam is a short acting benzodiazepine and has been used to treat anxiety though preferably not long term. So I advise review and assessment by the psychiatrist of symptoms and medications.

Hi lybrate-user! Yes you are not supposed to take Alprazolam regularly unless otherwise prescribed by a Psychiatrist for a period of time. Once the course is completed as per Psychiatrist advice you can stop the same. If you are addicted, then yes there are side effects if taken more than the prescribed dose and definitely you will be incapable of facing any situation in life.
