Dear lybrate-user,
you can give your mom valparin alkalets 500 mg itself not only today, even hereafter. Probably she may need a little extra dose of valparin alkalets compared to valparin chrono. But that is not immediate. When you go back to cip next 3 months, please inform about change of medication. The psychiatrist there will adjust the dose, if needed.

Hi... The seizure will remain absent till you take the medicine... But there are no guarantees that it will not come after 3 years... So if you want to wait till then you may wait...

Or

You may consult for homoeopathic treatment... There are chances that it will be cured if taken as advised and also it has no side effects like you are having now.
