Juvenile myoclonic epilepsy is a type of primary generalised epilepsy. It wil get good response with encorate. But there is chance to recur once you stop it. Usually encorate is the drug of choice. We usually switch to another one only if encorate is not tolerated. For more details ,you can consult me.
