Eltuss 10 Mg/2.5 Mg/10 Mg Syrup

Eltuss medication belongs to a class of drugs known as nasal decongestant. It helps in treating dry cough, common cold, allergies, hay fever and flu. This syrup is therefore used in sinus and nasal congestion.

On using this medication you may experience side effects such as headache, nausea, constipation, stomach upset, dizziness and drowsiness. Certain severe reactions include seizures, hallucinations, irregular or slow heartbeat and difficulty in breathing.

Consult your doctor before using this syrup and tell him/her if you have a history of heart, diabetes or thyroid disorders or high blood pressure. Also tell your doctor if you’re pregnant, are planning to become pregnant or are breastfeeding a baby.

Eltuss 10 Mg/2.5 Mg/10 Mg Syrup works on alpha adrenergic receptors to a great extent and alpha adrenergic receptors to a lesser extent. This drug stimulates beta2-adrenergic receptors and de-stresses bronchial smooth muscle, thereby ameliorating the symptoms of nasal/sinus congestion.
